Giveaway – The Husbands Secret

So, here goes! My very first giveaway and what better time to do it than when we’re all due to go back to work!

the-husbands-secret
The prize is ‘The Husband’s Secret’ by Liane Moriarty. A book I have already read and reviewed which was in fact my first ever blog post!!! Why not bring a bit of nostalgia along with it! This is being provided by me and I will be responsible for all postage etc.

The Book

My Darling Cecilia
If you’re reading this, then I’ve died . . .

Imagine your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret – something so terrible it would destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others too. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive . . .

Cecilia Fitzpatrick achieved it all – she’s an incredibly successful business woman, a pillar of her small community and a devoted wife and mother. Her life is as orderly and spotless as her home. But that letter is about to change everything, and not just for her: Rachel and Tess barely know Cecilia – or each other – but they too are about to feel the earth-shattering repercussions of her husband’s devastating secret.

  1. I’ve just read your review on this book and like your frank and honest comments without spoiling the plot too much.

  2. I think it is quite hard to review a book without giving too much away yet saying enough to grasp the interest of the reader. Well you have done just that because now I am totally intrigued and very much want to know his secret and the events arising from it.

  3. I think you have told us just enough to get us to want to rush and start reading it, but not enough to spoil anything, just perfect!

  4. It’s good to read a good review and know whether it’s worth buying and reading a book.
